§ 1 Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all guided Jeep tours and adventure experiences offered by RENT YOUR ADVENTURE, insofar as the booking is made by private individuals (consumers).
A consumer is any natural person who concludes a contract for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed professional activities.
The contract language is German. If a Spanish/English translation is provided, it is for informational purposes only; the German version shall prevail.
§ 2 Subject of the Contract
The subject of the contract is the execution of a guided leisure and adventure service (Jeep tour) at a specified date or within a defined period.
This is a leisure service and not a package tour.
§ 3 Participation Requirements & Health
Participation requirements:
Minimum age passengers: 3 years (properly secured)
Minimum age drivers (self-drive tours): 21 years
Valid driving license class B for at least 3 years
Participation requires a generally good state of health. Persons with health restrictions (e.g., cardiovascular diseases, pregnancy, recent surgery) participate only after careful self-assessment.
Safety-relevant health conditions must be disclosed to the organizer prior to the tour without being requested.
The organizer is not liable for damages solely resulting from the participant intentionally or grossly negligently withholding safety-relevant health conditions.
The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the tour for safety reasons if a risk cannot be ruled out.
Participation under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited. Violations will result in immediate exclusion without refund.
Instructions given by the guide must be followed at all times. Participation in the safety briefing is mandatory.
§ 4 Booking & Payment
Bookings can be made online, by phone, or on site.
A binding contract is concluded upon booking confirmation.
The full tour price must be paid before the start of the tour.
§ 5 Cancellation by the Participant
Cancellations must be made in text form (e.g., email).
The following cancellation fees apply to the total booking price:
up to 14 days before the tour: 15%
13–7 days before the tour: 50%
from 6 days / no-show: 100%
The participant is entitled to prove that no or lower damage has been incurred.
§ 6 Cancellation / Changes by the Organizer
The organizer may cancel or modify tours for safety, weather, official, or technical reasons.
In such cases, an alternative date will be offered or the tour price refunded.
No further claims exist unless caused by intent or gross negligence.
Changes to route or schedule for safety or organizational reasons do not constitute a defect, provided the overall character of the tour is maintained.
§ 7 Safety, Conduct & Exclusion
Participation in the safety and vehicle briefing is mandatory.
The following rules apply in particular:
No alcohol or drug influence
No use of mobile phones or electronic devices while driving
Maintain required distance to the vehicle in front
Seat belts must be worn at all times
No overtaking without explicit instruction from the guide
No deviation from the designated route
No driving in restricted or protected natural/environmental areas
In the event of serious or repeated violations, the organizer may exclude participants from the tour for safety reasons.
In such cases, no refund will be granted if the exclusion is due to the participant’s fault.
§ 8 Self-Drive Tours – Deposit, Damages & Liability
A deposit of €500 must be paid before the start of the tour. It can be provided in cash or via card authorization.
The deposit serves to secure damages caused by improper use, violation of instructions, traffic offenses, or negligent behavior.

Chargeable damages include in particular:
Ignoring safety or driving instructions
Clutch, underbody, tire or rim damage due to improper driving
Damage caused by leaving the approved route
Additional chargeable items include vehicle/equipment damage, towing and recovery costs, cleaning or interior damage, lost or damaged keys, and fines or official fees attributable to the participant.

Cash: immediately after the tour, latest within 24 hours
Card hold: release within 3–5 banking days
If damages or violations are identified, the organizer may retain the deposit partially or in full. Further claims remain reserved.

All traffic violations, fines, towing, or storage costs incurred during use are borne by the driver/participant.
The organizer may forward necessary participant data to authorities or insurers if required.
§ 10 Delay & No-Show

Late arrival or no-show may result in exclusion.
In such cases, cancellation terms according to § 5 apply.
